HERB: Balamban Liempo is stacked with unique and special herbs used in authentic Cebu lechon, making its taste unique and flavorful. Being a distinct flavor, people talk about it long after they have tasted the recipe.
Size: Balamban Liempo is 600g uncooked, resulting in 1/2 kilo (or 500g) when cooked and served. Most take-out liempos serve 250-300g sizes.
Price: The average lechon price per kilo in Cebu is Php 375, which in turn costs Php 600 in Metro Manila. Balamban Liempo, measured by the kilo, is better priced. Other liempos, gram per gram, are more expensive.
